The Pantry on Church

The Pantry on Church packs and distributes food in our community every Tuesday. Our partner is Sweetwater Mission in Austell. We serve 315 families each week. Adult volunteers pack at Sweetwater between 9-11:30 AM. Volunteers of high school age and older distribute food in our parking lot on Tuesday evenings between 5-7 PM. You are welcome to come through our drive through pick-up line on Tuesdays between 5-7pm.
(The line forms in the West Parking Lot, across the tracks from the church on Kennesaw Ave.)

Opportunities to Serve

Christmas is here! If your work organization would like to organize a donation drive or would like a one-time volunteer experience, we would love to work with you. Email Martie Moore here.

If you would like to volunteer to pack and distribute food on Tuesdays. We welcome civic and private business groups as well as high school students who need service hours. Email Martie Moore here.

If you would like to volunteer but are not available on Tuesdays, Email Martie Moore here. Currently, our volunteer needs include occasional item pick up that would require a pickup truck or a large SUV. Trips to Helping Mamas in Norcross happen once a month. Trips to Atlanta GLOW in Marietta are up to twice a month.

Also, we need volunteers who can translate written Spanish into English.

Donate any of the following items:

Diapers
Baby wipes
Non-perishable food items (boxed or canned, pop-top preferred)
Peanut Butter & Jelly
Canned Tuna
Canned Chicken
Skull cap beanies
Disposable hand warmers
Unisex work gloves
Individual microwaveable meals (such as soup, mac & cheese, and spaghetti o’s)
Individually boxed raisins, craisins, and other dried fruit

Donations can be dropped off at 189 Church Street, Marietta, GA 30060. Please mark them for “The Pantry on Church” or place them in the big green bin in the main lobby.
