All services are held in Sanctuary during the months of June and July.
During that time, children and youth do not meet for Sunday School. The Nursery is open from 10:45am-12:15pm.

Throughout the year, we have special services. Be sure to check our social media and website for any changes.
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
At FPC Marietta, we encourage you to come as you are. The majority of our congregants opt for traditional Sunday dress. Younger generations often dress more casually, wearing jeans or slacks.
Can I take communion?
Communion is served the first Sunday of every month and during special services throughout the year. You do not need to be a member to participate in any aspect of worship. Our doors are open to everyone, and we encourage you to visit as often as you’d like.
Can I be baptized?
We baptize people of all ages. While parents typically have their infants or young children baptized, youth and adults can be baptized, as well.
CHILDREN IN WORSHIP
Our congregation is full of families, and families are welcome and encouraged to take part in either of our worship services.

Children’s Message
11am Service
Open to children of all ages
Prior to each service, children are invited to pick up worship items from the blue cart at the entrance to the Sanctuary and Great Hall.
During the 11am worship service, children are invited to gather up front for a special message with a worship leader.

Children’s Church
11am Service
Open to pre-K through 3rd Grade
Following the Children’s Message during the 11am worship service, children in pre-K through 3rd grade may leave for Children’s Church with children’s ministry leaders.
During Children’s Church, they will receive a Bible lesson and play time.

Acolytes
8:30am and 11am Services
Children in 2nd-5th Grade
Children are encouraged to lead worship as an acolyte in one or both worship services.
The acolyte processes in with other worship leaders to light the candles in the front of the Sanctuary or Great Hall. They also extinguish the candles, carrying the light out of worship, followed by other leaders.
