My Handy Friend
A team of qualified volunteers provide free, safe, reliable repairs or assistance to members with limited ability due to physical or economic issues. Volunteers are reimbursed for the cost of any necessary supplies.
NAMI
National Alliance on Mental Illness holds two weekly evening support group meetings every Monday. A Drop-In center for peer support is open throughout the week.
Pre-Registration is required for all groups and the drop-in center.
Autism Support Group
3rd Thursdays
7:00-8:30pm | Room 051
This group is for families of those on the autism spectrum including information about school and community resources.
Going Forward
4th Thursdays
1-3pm | Glover Room
This group is for widows and widowers to have a safe place to express feelings, emotions, doubts, and find new possibilities; adjust to a “new normal,” and to develop a sustainable living pattern.
Adoption/Foster Support
This group identifies and meets needs of our foster and adoptive families within the congregation.

Stephen Ministry
Sundays | 10am-12pm
Stephen Ministers provide one-on-one confidential support for people in transition or going through a difficult time. If you are in need of a Stephen Minister, please reach out.
Pastoral Care
Our pastors are available to visit those who have difficulty coming to worship or who may need a way to stay connected to our church family. Prayer requests are kept confidential unless you give permission for them to be printed in our weekly prayer email.
In-Home Communion
1st Sundays | Afternoons | Off Campus
Ordained elders provide in-home communion to those who are unable to attend in-person worship. If you would like in-home communion, please reach out.

This Christ-centered health center provides a comprehensive range of medical and dental services for patients without health insurance or the means to afford care. Volunteer opportunities include professional medical and dental work, front office help, packing healthcare bags, professional counseling and more.
MUST Ministries

More than 6,000 volunteers serve through MUST, a multifaceted community ministry connecting people who have a desire to help with those who need help the most. Volunteer opportunities include after school tutoring and mentoring; manning the thrift shop or volunteering at the homeless shelter; giving food, clothing, and other items; running in the Thanksgiving Day Gobble Jog; or getting involved in the summer lunch program. First Presbyterian Church is a MUST Summer Lunch distribution site.
The Extension

The Extension provides comprehensive addiction treatment services and life rehabilitation at two resident facilities – one for men and one for women. FPC supports The Extension through donations of money, supplies, and volunteers to prepare meals, make repairs, teach life skills classes, and more.
The Zone

An extension of the Davis Direction Foundation’s non-profit corporation, The Zone is led and governed by people in recovery, as well as their family members, friends and allies. It’s a Recovery Community Organization (RCO) that mobilizes resources within and outside of the recovery community to make long-term recovery possible for the population it serves.
