Commitment Sunday is October 25, 2020
Please join us in person if you have a reservation through your neighborhood group or via livestream.
FPC continues to thrive and grow during these unprecedented times of extraordinary change. By finding new and different ways of continuing our missions and ministries and developing new outreach ministries, we continue to change lives through faith, hope and love. Please consider increasing your giving for 2021.
In 2020, we received funds from the Paycheck Protection Program which enabled us to pay our preschool teachers for April and May even though schools were closed, and tuition was not being paid. It also allowed us to keep everyone on the church payroll which was a true blessing. However, these funds will not be available for 2021 so we need the pledges of our congregation even more.
Thank you for completing and returning your commitment card by one of the following ways:
- Attend the Gratitude Tailgate (RSVP required) on October 21 and return the card there.
- Come to the Pledge Drive-by on October 25 between 12:30 and 1:30pm and drop in your pledge card.
- Pledge online at here or through the FPC mobile app.
- Attend a Sunday service and place your pledge card in the box as you enter or leave the Great Hall.
- Mail your pledge card back to the church.
Thank you again for helping us to change lives with faith, hope and love.
Wednesday, October 21 | 5:00-7:30pm | FPC West Parking Lot
You will have received your pledge card, and we encourage you to bring it to put into the pledge box that evening.
Reservations have now been closed. Limited capacity due to Covid-19 protocols for physical distancing indoors or outdoors. Questions? Email Kelly Dewar here.
Bring your own chairs/blankets, beverages, and utensils.
Each family will be allotted three parking spaces – one to park in, and two to form a physically-distanced tailgate space. The Gratitude Team will provide a fried-chicken boxed dinner to those with reservations with pick-up beginning at 5pm. Families will be notified of the location of their space prior to the tailgate.
ENTERTAINMENT PROVIDED BY
Dr. Brennan Breed and his Bluegrass ensemble
TAILGATE ATTENDEES are requested to wear face coverings when not in their own tailgate spot, and at any time they are moving from place to place. We ask that everyone adhere to the Building Use Guidelines and remain physically distanced from anyone not in their tailgate group, or when entering the church building to use restrooms.
RAIN OR SHINE
In the event of inclement weather, tailgate attendees may pick up boxed dinners to take home.
