Information About the Assessment

Thank you for participating in this Gifts of the Spirit Assessment! This is not a test, so there are no right or wrong answers. The Assessment is designed to help you become more aware of your God-given gifts and recognize these gifts in others.

There are many gifts of the Spirit. We have done our best to include those most frequently mentioned in scripture, but there are too many to include them all. Please keep this in mind when you review the results. Also remember, our gifts change and develop over time – God is at work in us!

For each statement, choose the response that most closely describes you. Please complete the assessment in one sitting; there isn’t a way to save and complete later.

After you answer all the questions, click “Submit.” Your results will be emailed to you. Follow the link to a brochure describing the gifts included in the Assessment. You can also pick up a brochure in the Gathering Space.

This Assessment is in response to the Vision 2035 Survey from the spring of 2022. Together with the summer series of sermons focusing on Gifts of the Spirit, this is the first initiative of the Spirituality and Ecumenical Relations Task Force to offer more opportunities for spiritual growth in our everyday life and in the activities of our church. Watch for more initiatives in the coming months.
