Sunday Classes

Would you like to learn more about the Bible? Gain an understanding of Christ's life and the time when he lived on earth? Enjoy the companionship of other First Presbyterian Church of Marietta's members? Consider joining an Adult Sunday School Class. You are welcome to visit any class, Bible Study, or group anytime. Adult Sunday School classes all start at 9:45 a.m. and end at 10:45 a.m. Numbered classrooms are on the lower level of the Speed Building.

Faith & Family Class

Room 053
Discussion class geared primarily toward parents with young children. Bible Studies focus on topics of interest to parents.

New Seasons Class

Room 051
Discussion class that alternates between studies of Christian books and DVD series. Fellowship opportunities include meals, movies, plays, Friday night concerts in summer, and women's night out.

Explorers Class

Room 050
Discussion class that delves into issues of faith and encourages participation. Members also enjoy dinners, picnics in the park, and mission projects together.

Faith Seekers Class

Room 057
Lecture class that studies the books of the Bible or Christian authors' studies of particular books of Bible. Class members enjoy occasional covered dish dinners.

Chapel Class

Church Library
Discussion class for senior citizens with keen minds and an interest in relating faith to their daily lives.
