Men Abiding in Christ, Inc (MAC Ministries)
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit .”

According to Pat Morley (author, “Man in the Mirror) men are “under siege because they are trying to do too many of the right things” including being super-dad, perfect husband, contributing churchman, and a good provider.
Morley says the consequences for every 10 men in church are as follows:
- 9 will have kids who leave the church
- 8 will not find their jobs satisfying
- 6 pay the monthly minimum on their credit card balances
- 5 will have a major problem with pornography
- 4 will get divorced (affecting 1,000,000 children per year)
- 1 has a biblical world view
- 10 will struggle to balance work and family
Men Abiding in Christ Ministries is a ministry expressly designed to help men abide in Christ. We strive to accomplish this mission by helping men develop disciplines that will lead them to a life fully dependent on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are called to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 19) by helping men seek and live a life of significance by:
- Discipling men one-on-one to change the world of Christ one heart at a time.
- Launching and developing men's small groups to grow men into disciples for Christ.
- Helping churches build sustainable men's ministries, enabling leaders to reach all of their men for Christ.
Born and raised in Marietta, GA Pat MacPherson has been blessed to have been in a church community his entire life. After obtaining a degree, marrying and beginning both a family and a career, Pat began to feel God’s call upon his life. God opened his heart to a new approach at work and within a short time, he began to see his workplace as his mission field.
Starting with just a few friends, Pat began discipling other men, whom he discovered faced a multitude of challenges. God created daily opportunities to witness and began to prune Pat for what he now knows was God’s mission in the Men Abiding in Christ (MAC) Ministry. It became clear that God wanted Pat to do more one-on-one discipling at work.
Today, MAC Ministries is a non-profit organization going where few outreach organizations have gone: straight to the heart of a man. MAC Ministries is totally funded by faith giving and is an important part of the local missions of FPC.
Men Abiding in Christ Ministries is a relationship-based ministry, which focuses on building a community of faith between men. These relationships are developed mostly through small group meetings in the workplace, church, restaurants, home, etc. While most of the ministry’s audience is between 30 and 60 years of age, there is no restriction on the age in which of the individual or group with whom the Ministry will work!
