When Jesus came to Earth, he surrounded himself with a small group. The twelve who followed Jesus knew him well. They lived together, traveled together and prayed together. These twelve were Christ’s first Disciples.

There is every reason to believe that Jesus meant for us to follow the model he laid out before us. In small groups, we are able to deepen our faith, devote ourselves to prayer or study, share in fellowship and – like the Disciples before us – build a foundation from which to carry forth the message of Jesus Christ.

At FPC Marietta, we believe in the value of small groups. Especially in today’s fast paced world, finding a place to be connected can sometimes be a challenge. Nevertheless, we know that the result of committing ourselves to one another in accountability, prayer and fellowship will feed our faith roots.

Consider yourself necessary to the success of this ministry! Join a small group today and discover what the first Disciples knew: we need each other.
