Witness Council volunteers needed

Throughout the year, volunteers for the Witness Council offer a warm welcome—along with coffee and conversation—to our members, new comers and regular guests by providing yummy snacks in Holland Hall on Sunday mornings. The Witness Council is currently looking for volunteers to provide snacks. Each week, four trays of food items are needed (muffins, crispy treats, cookies, fruit, cake, etc.), so they would like three or four volunteers. Snacks do not have to be homemade. These should be in Holland Hall, ready to serve at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday. If you can sign up for a Sunday, please respond to: (678) 458-5307.

Meals on Wheels needs more drivers

Presbyterian Women has volunteered with "Meals On Wheels" in Marietta and Cobb County for 30 years. We need your help to continue this meaningful ministry. Drivers are needed every Wednesday and Friday for approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours to deliver meals to people who need them. The meals are picked up at the the Senior Center on Fairground Street at 10:00 a.m. If you prefer not to drive, but would like to ride with a driver to assist in navigation or provide company, this is a great help as well. Drivers will cover the same route each time. Currently, each drive volunteers twice a quarter, but with more drivers it would be less often. If interested in this rewarding ministry, please contact Suzanne Edwards (770) 993-2143.
